Upcoming Busy Day....

Goals For Tomorrow:

-Read at least one book *without refgard to it's educational or informative content*.
-Watch at least one of my Netflix movies
-try like hell to use my Pier One Imports gift card, even if I just blow the rest on candles (I got a couple the other night, plus a bag of tealights fo the Grove, I still have...uhhhh...$60 left on the card out of $75)
-burn off the bottle of oil that I didn't finish when I planned to last week because the weather was icky every time i wanted to
-get coffee from XS

Anyone not doing anything tomorrow during the day and want to come over and watch a movie or two?

When my lunch is over, I will have about 3 hours left to work. An hour offline included in that. Wahoo!

I highly recommend a fluffy fun romance novel. My one true secret vice.

NO better way to end a hard semester of Nursing classes!

hehe....fluffy and fun eh?

see...I just can't get into straight romance novels. The closest thing to a romance novel that i've read in years is the Kushiel's Legacy trilogy by Jacqueline Carey...and that's a far, far cry from a romance novel.

What I'd really like to do is get my hands on a few Elizabeth Hand novels. I read her book Waking The Moon last year...only standalone novel that I've ever described as "addictive"

I'm a pretty fast reader...depending on the book, the material, how interested in the book i am, how it's written, i can potentially read several books in a day. Then again, there have been books that have taken me forever to read. There's a book that I have on the astrological influences of Neptune...even if you're not into astrology (I have mixed thoughts)it's a really interesting commentary on a variety of subjects- art, history, politics, mythology, psychology, etc etc...but it literally took me about 3 years to read- I've read books twice as long in a day's time.
